Q: Where are the courses held?
A: The courses are held at our offices from Central House No. 1 Ballards lane, London N3. Central house is right opposite Finchley Central tube station. We also have practice areas out door. After the completion of your course we can arrange for short courses on site through our sister company Frontline site engineering ltd. Additional course fees applies for construction site based training.

Q: How long does it take to complete the course?
A: The course duration is flexible and dependent on your previous site experience. Most students join for two weeks intensive or 4 weeks intermediate course and those new to engineering may join three month course.

Q: How much do they cost?
A: Please refer to price pages for latest up dates

Q: Can I come in just for one day a week?
A: Yes daily courses are held on Fridays, you could join pay for 8 sessions in advance or pay per session.

Q: Do you give certificates?
A: Yes, at the end of your course you will complete a competency test which takes a few hours to complete; if you pass you will be awarded a training and competency test certificate which is recognized by a number of recruitment agencies and contractors in UK.

Q: I am affiliated to Chartered institute of Civil engineers and chartered Institute of building (CIOB) are your courses recognized for the purpose of CPD (Continuous professional development)?
A: Yes, Most chartered institutes recognize our courses for the purpose of CPD, such as Chartered institute of Building, Institute of chartered civil engineers, etc. in general each day of the course can count about 5 hours of CPD.

Q: What do I need to bring with me on the first day?
A: We provide everything that is necessary

Q: I don't have formal education, can I still join your course?
A: Yes, as a training company we train everybody who wants to become a building site engineer, we teach you all you need to know. The duration of the course depends on your pervious site experience, after completion of your course you could continue part time or weekends to gain further training at greatly reduced prices.

Q: I am an overseas graduate in civil engineering, and when I ring agencies they want UK site experience which I don't have. Can I get this experience with you?
A: Yes, our courses are based from office and an out door practice area.
