Site Engineering recruitment is the recruitment arm of Finchley College. We specialize in recruitment of Assistant and junior engineers for the construction industry, all of whom have been through an intensive 2 to 4 month long weekend training in the use of the latest surveying equipment, setting out and surveying techniques, using AutoCAD, GNSS, two man and robotic total stations, understanding of Building information modelling and some with first aid at wok certificates.

Our trainee engineers come from a variety of backgrounds, but after completion of training they are able to work on site using latest surveying equipment, read and understand drawings, understand construction processes, full able to set out on RC, steel frames and ground works.

 

All our trainees can use Robotics total stations, GNSS  and Leica Geosystems Total stations, automatic, laser and digital levels.

Training is 80% hands on practical and 20% understanding principles of surveying, introduction to Building Information Modelling (BIM)
